A Balmoral Hotel Wedding Video
Scotland really does have some of the most beautiful wedding venues in the world. However, in all that time, we had never experienced an event like a Balmoral Hotel wedding video. That changed for Julija + Kevin's celebrations in Edinburgh. What a cracker.
Story of the Day
It is always wonderful to film at the best wedding venues in Scotland. There is such a great sense of history and occasion stored within the very bricks used to create these magnificent buildings. The Balmoral in Edinburgh is a luxury wedding venue which earns its luxurious tagline. Set in the heart of Edinburgh, this Rocco Forte Hotel contains magnificent views over Arther's Seat and Edinburgh Castle. Not only are the views spectacular, but the food is out of this world as well. Julija and Kevin certainly picked well!
Their wedding contained a particular challenge, fore there were only 20 guests. Normally we can hide away through the crowd to remain inconspicuous. This time we had to be invisible! Only kidding. We were fortunate that the beauty of Edinburgh drew the majority of the attention - creating a welcome distraction so we could do our thing. It reminded us of when we filmed in the centre of Edinburgh for Claire + Ekow's day.
Wedding at The Balmoral Edinburgh
Creating a Balmoral Hotel wedding video was especially important for Julija and Kevin, especially as half the guests were from Julija's native Latvia. Even though our Russian is quite limited, you could hear the emotion in Julija's fathers face as he gave his speech. So poignant.
Through their generosity, we were treated to food from the Balmoral's bistro. Quite simply, delicious. An experience I shall never forget.
