Cowshed Crail Wedding Video
It feels great to be back filming again, and we were overjoyed to start the season with Fiona and Daryl's Cowshed Crail wedding.
We absolutely love filming weddings in Scotland. The landscape, the locations, and the people make it a terrific place to hold your wedding. And even though we have visited and filmed in Fife many times in the past, this was our first trip to the coastline on our visit to Crail. The village of Crail is a charming fishing port that feels steeped in local history. And we took advantage of this location with our portrait shots later in the day. More on that later!
Filming a Cowshed Crail wedding
Next to the village, we found our wonderful farmhouse wedding venue at The Cowshed. This Scottish venue is almost a blank canvas for couples to create their own unique style for their wedding day. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the old stone barns are built around a central courtyard with wonderful festoon lights illuminating the area. This was ideal for Fiona, who had so many ideas to bring to her wedding day. And she certainly made sure her guests were entertained through the day. We had live music, garden games, a pizza van, and sparklers. Perfect ingredients for a top wedding day.
Speaking of the day, we had glorious blue skies for this Cowshed wedding in Crail. Fiona & Daryl had their ceremony at the intimate Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Crail and it was wonderful to see a couple say 'I do' once again. After the ceremony, we took a stroll through Crail to grab some shots. And it gave us the opportunity to see just how nice a location the village is. Once we arrived back at the venue for the wedding reception, we saw all the family and friends join together to celebrate a magnificent day. Before the day, we were wondering what our first wedding in 2021 would be like. Now we know the answer. It was the perfect way to start our 2021 season.
