Welcome

Glenapp Castle Wedding

Emily + Justin had their beautiful Glenapp Castle wedding in front of their family and friends. In my opinion, it's hard to compete with a Scottish castle wedding, and these two took full advantage of the location by having the best day of their lives together.

We Love Scottish Castle Weddings

Emily and Justin are a fun couple who love to travel and experience new things. So it totally went against their standard convention that they ended up meeting in Paisley. Don't worry, they made up for things with plenty of traveling and adventuring after getting together. This sense of fun and adventure meant that a castle wedding was the perfect choice for them. However, it wasn't always the case. At first, they were planning on getting married at the family farm. Now as we all know, weddings are constantly in flux, and plans change. Now if your change means having your wedding at Glenapp, then you've made a brilliant choice! We also have to make a special mention to Molly and Jamie for recommending us to these two.

Onto the day itself. While the weather was touch and go for most of the day, the couple didn't care as they were captivated by the moment. We love capturing weddings like this because it shows what it's actually like on the day, rather than being too staged or posed. It's also an opportunity to show just how much fun everyone has when they're celebrating such an important event in their lives together.

Ayrshire Wedding Venue

Glenapp Castle is a 5 Star Hotel that is hidden away amongst woodland and sculptured gardens. Located in the heart of Scotland, everyone is able to enjoy amazing views of the Scottish countryside and soak up some culture. It's also close to Glasgow, which is a bonus!
This historic castle was built in 1789 on a hilltop overlooking the village of Ballantrae and the Firth of Clyde. It has stunning views of the surrounding area as well as a gorgeous interior that's full of history—perfect for a wedding day!

And so it was that Emily and Justin partied through the evening while enjoying the best day of their lives. It was a blast.
