Fairground Rides Themed Aynhoe Park Wedding
It's always amazing to know that James Perkins, who owns Aynhoe Park, allows couples almost free rein of the venue. This meant Faye and Reece had ferret racing at their fairground rides themed Aynhoe Park wedding. I was beyond excited when I found this out!
Aynhoe Park is one of those quirky wedding venues that stands out amongst other UK wedding venues. You've probably seen it. A crocodile serving mints, a polar bear with WW1 goggles on and a giraffe being held aloft by large balloons. It's a special kind of crazy. So it seemed only sensible for Faye + Reece to opt for a fairground rides themed Aynhoe Park wedding.
We had the crazy golf, frog splay, coconut shy and way way more. It allowed their guests to mingle, play, and explore. Such a wonderful way to entertain their guests! Speaking of which, all the guests arrived to a torrent of rain. This made the morning clay pigeon shooting by Reece and his groomsmen all the more difficult. Thankfully as the ceremony drew near, the rain moved away to reveal the glorious sunshine.
One of our highlights was in working with our friend Lee Allen of Lee Allen Photography. Such a great photographer and fabulous company. He perfectly complimented the style and mood of the day. We even managed to get amongst the wheat fields for a lovely spot of portrait action. Also, the catering of the venue was, as usual, top notch. You really cannot fault an Aynhoe Park wedding with the service.
Anyone who is considering a fairground rides themed Aynhoe Park wedding need to note a few things. Ferret racing is amazing. We are the masters of frog splat. Hire Lee Allen to do your photography.
