Beach Wedding in Turkey
We first met Sophie at the lovely Alice and Danny's wedding last year. Not long afterward we received an email from her. Asking if we were available to film their beach wedding in Turkey.
We said yes. It was an amazing experience.

These two people are the hardest working couple we know. It might seem like a massive exaggeration, but it's not. They have roles of Events Coordinator, Commercial Photographer and International Dancer between them. How do they find the time normally? It's amazing that they found time to plan this wedding and to execute it to perfection.
So onto the event itself. We landed at Bodrum airport with the sun blazing overhead and we headed off to the Turkish resort of Bitez. After settling in, we started filming the traditional Turkish henna party. All organised by Bircan's mother. Sophie arrived at the event on horseback. What happened next? Treated to a customary Turkish marriage ritual with dancing, more dancing, some amazing food, and more dancing of course! The energy created through the performances and their friends and family was extraordinary. Everyone partying into the night.
Now onto the second day. Arranged as a beautiful humanist beach ceremony, Sophie looking absolutely stunning. Especially in her wedding dress. Everything we wanted to see for this beach wedding in Turkey. The evening, rounded off by Sophie and Bircan, they performed an amazing salsa dance in front of everyone. To rapturous applause.
The first time we have ever created a destination wedding film in Turkey. Also the first time of seeing a beach wedding in Turkey.
