A Scottish Carlowrie Castle Wedding
It can be hard to make an international relationship work long-distance, but that's what Jamie and Molly pulled off when they had their Carlowrie Castle wedding.
FROM New York TO EDINBURGH
Jamie met Molly in Washington DC when he was in the states traveling after grad school. He was fully decked out in American clothing and Molly was smitten after hearing his accent. In spite of the distance, Jamie and Molly made it work. The proposal came when Jamie got down on one knee in a hot air balloon on Thanksgiving (good choice). After two and a half years they finally tied the knot.

The place is absolutely beautiful, as you can see from the wedding film above. It’s got a very romantic and Old World feel, with high-vaulted stone ceilings and ornate German-style windows that stretch from the ground floor all the way up to the top floor. Also, the back of the castle has its own garden and courtyard, complete with trees and grass—it’s just perfect! It’s what makes Carlowrie Castle one of the most popular wedding venues in Scotland.
