Naomi and Ross chose to take us all the way up to Aberdeenshire for their Cluny Castle wedding. This place is absolutely magnificent. From the gorgeous surroundings to the guests enjoying the event, the whole day was an utter joy.
The Very Definition of a Castle Wedding in Scotland
Nestled amidst the picturesque Aberdeenshire countryside, Cluny Castle was the perfect choice for the wedding of Naomi and Ross. The sprawling grounds offered an idyllic backdrop for their celebration. And the rich tapestry of history that seamlessly blended with contemporary sophistication. This majestic historic gem, boasting an impressive façade and enchanting gardens, exuded an aura of timeless elegance that perfectly matched the couple's vision for their dream wedding. Inside, every corner of Cluny Castle was adorned with intricate architectural details and opulent furnishings. You could not ask for a better setting.
Almost like getting ready at home
With sunlight gently filtering through the castle's windows, this day had the perfect weather. Surrounded by her closest family and friends, Naomi remained calm and graceful while the action began to bustle outside. Any worries that had gone along with the planning of the wedding day had evaporated into the sunny skies, and she was clearly excited about the day ahead. Assisted by his groomsmen, Ross settled any nerves with the odd dram of Whisky - each to their own! As the hours rolled by, the excitement only grew. Inside Cluny Castle, it felt like the countdown to the best party ever.
The perfect Scotland wedding venue
So, that’s enough about the gorgeous Cluny Castle. It’s time to talk about the main two involved. Naomi & Ross. These two really love their friends and family, and would often prefer them to take centre stage rather than themselves. It was this humble nature which really endures people to them. They are both so down-to-earth. Also, they have Finn, their MAHOOSIVE German Shepherd. Such a softy. Being animal lovers ourselves, you just wanted to give him a big cuddle. The whole day was so much fun with delicious food and some great dancing at the ceilidh later on.
