Welcome

A Clare College Cambridge Wedding

As two international students, Evianne and Matthew were neighbours. They fell in love. They got married. It was amazing. By electing to have a Clare College Cambridge wedding, they married at the same location in which they first met. It helps that that location is in one of the oldest and most beautiful universities in the whole world.

Story of the Day

Cambridge is one of those iconic places in which defines a traditional part of England. Witness the stunning architecture, to the sight of people punting up the river cam. It is a magical place. The College, founded in 1326, you can almost smell the history of the location. In this most English of England wedding venues we see something fitting. A man from Australia (by way of South Africa) and a woman from Holland who went to study at Clare College Cambridge. It was here that they met, and it was here that they wanted to get married.

It was an incredibly hot day in June. We enjoyed clear blue skies with the sun bouncing across the sandstone walls. The ceremony, held at Clare College Chapel, serenaded by glorious music from the choir. Suitably entertained, everyone then moved over to the Scholars Garden. After lining up for some bubble confetti!

To make the day even more special, Adam Johnson, our dear friend, and all-around amazing photographer joined us. You can see what he made of this Clare College Cambridge wedding here! Evi and Matt, we wish you the very best in your lives together as you embark on a new life in Australia.
