Filming a Jewish wedding in London means you are in for an awesome time. Fact.

For Laura and Andrew’s wedding we already had high hopes for a mega-time as they chose to hold the wedding in Old Billingsgate. This wonderful venue is situated smack-bang on the Thames so all the guests were able to enjoy a picturesque view while out in the glorious sunshine. However, inside Old Billingsgate Laura and Andrew had planned a very organic flavour to their wedding. With the natural herbs decorating the tables along with a leaf motif which has a personal connection to Andrew’s family, it was great to see their input coming to fruition. Taking centre stage was the Chuppah. Of course this is nothing unusual with Jewish weddings. However this particular Chuppah was designed by Andrew. And what an amazing design it was too! Special mention must go to Rupert Mckelvie for the design and construction of the Chuppah, working closely with Andrew and Laura. Also the technical event production, audio and lighting design was by Luke Bennett.

The stunning wedding dress worn by Laura is by Jane Bourvis. Wow. Just WOW. The dress along with the hair and make-up complimented each other beautifully.

Both Laura and Andrew possess a warm character which make you feel immediately at ease. And along with both sets of parents, they simply make you feel included into their loving family. To put it simply. They ROCK.

Enjoy their highlights 🙂

Marriage & Reception: Old Billingsgate, Old Billingsgate Walk, Lower Thames St, London

Boring Techie Alert: We went about editing this highlights clip a little differently than usual. You may have noticed a few transitions used to link the scenes together more creatively along with grading the shots with a hint of green to reflect one of the main colours of the day.

I keep watching it and not wanting it to end, like some rom-com or a great chick flick…

Thanks Mark 🙂

Crikey Mr Hurst, I right welled up there. How lovely.

Awesome wedding video!

Wow! What an incredible wedding and you’ve captured it perfectly, I love the time-lapse parts but the best have to be the dancing and the look Laura gives Andrew at 1.56 🙂
