There is a trick to creating the perfect Hindu wedding video. For Rini and Sai it was in combining the spiritual elements to their Hindu wedding along with a feel-good fun-factor. Their day had a grandiose setting which felt altogether more intimate and personal. Starting the day at silly o’clock in the morning, it was a non-stop day which was immensely fun. This was our first attempt at creating a Hindu wedding video and like with all our wedding films, we prepared ourselves for all the little details which any couple lovingly spend on. Never before had we filmed a ceremony which was so rich in detail so we had to keep our wits about us at all times. Even though filming the ceremony was exhausting you get a real buzz from all the non-stop action!
Along for the ride was the wonderful Sheraz who was awesome on the day and is an awesome photographer to boot. Throughout the day it felt as if Rini, Sai, Sheraz and I were some sort of quirky little family. Even though the occasion was dipped in tradition we culdn’t help but all laugh and crack jokes at every opportunity.
Mathurini and Sai didn’t want a traditional Hindu wedding videographer for their day. So they put a great deal of faith in our ability to create something beautiful and personal to them. The result has left a wonderful friendship from this very special occasion.
