Herefordshire is all kinds of beautiful, and during the hottest week of the year Sarabeth and Mark had their Homme House wedding in front of all their family and friends.
They met while both studying at the University of Chicago. Both Sarabeth and Mark met while at a social event where she was smitten by his accent. And who wouldn’t be!
Upon proposing, they decided that they should get married close to where Mark grew up. While looking at venues they decided that a Homme House wedding would be best for them. It’s not hard to see why they made this decision, and the wonderful The Hibiscus Room did such a wonderful job in decorating the venue.
The day turned out to be one of the hottest in 2017, so their wedding had to have some outdoor entertainment. Sarabeth managed to bring some US games over to our shores which involved throwing a beanbag (or hacky sack to our US brethren) into a wooden box with a hole cut of of it. I’m certain there are supposed to be specific rules to follow, but that didn’t stop people from making up their own.
All the time we had the pleasure of working alongside the absolutely wonderful Lucy G Photography. We have known Lucy for a good number of years now but it was our first time working together. Let’s do it again soon! We always knew Lucy took great images, and you can see the result of her Homme House wedding photography over here.
It was a truly magnificent day and it is a pleasure to show off this Homme House wedding video to Sarabeth and Mark.
