Wedding Highlights | Jen & Greg

Following on from their wedding trailer, we give to you the highlights of Jen & Greg. It was a wedding full of fun little moments which make the day so enjoyable. We suggested to Jen’s father early on if it would be possible for Astonwood Golf club to allow the couple to drive about on a golf buggy. It seemed like a nice idea and one that the couple were really up for. However what we didn’t know was that Greg was described by a few friends as “possible one of the worst drivers you have ever seen”. Oh dear.

Note: No golf buggies where hurt in the making of these highlights;)

Wedding Trailer in Sutton Coldfield | Jenny & Greg

Here is the trailer for our first wedding in 2011. Shot down in Sutton Coldfield, it was a fantastic day enjoyed by a fantastic couple. Obviously we are not going to give too much away in the trailer, but I felt I had to cram as many flower or flower-themed shots into this one as possible.

Save The Date | Lucie & Gwion

We’ve been wanting to create a Save The Date film for a while now. While they are quite popular in the US, we don’t tend to see many of them here in the UK. Shame.

For those who don’t quite know what we are talking about, a Save The Date is a little film which acts as a precursor to a couple’s wedding invitations (or even acting as the invitation itself). It could be the couple talking to the camera, acting something out, building a HUGE domino set to spell out their wedding date…..pretty much anything they like really!

Unfortunately we weren’t available to film Gwion & Lucie’s big day, so we offered this as an alternative. Needless to say they loved it and jumped on board. For their film, we decided to showcase their personalities by starting with their differences and ending with their similarities. A running theme through this clip is coffee. Coffee is quite key in their relationship as it was in a coffee house which they first met and something the two of them LOVE. We also thought it to be a cool idea for the two of them to speak in their native languages (Welsh & Czech), which now means I can say a few words in Welsh and Czech through the experience. Cool.

Anyway love to hear what you think of this:)

Neil Redfern - Aww, what a beautiful film!

A great idea too, I can really see it catching on :-)

Phill - That’s truly lovely. Very well thought out and beautifully put together. I’d love to see this take off over this side of the pond.

Just for fun | A family fashion shoot

A friend wanted us to make a quick edit for a fashion project she was working on, and she also wanted our little girl to be one of the models!

It was a fun hour and gave me a chance to experiment with recording at variable shutter speeds. I felt it gave the film more of an energetic look and helped with the fun of the occasion.

Here’s a quick edit of what we did:)
