Wedding Highlights at Crewe Hall | Kerrie & Patrick

The first thing Kerrie said as I arrived for her bridal preparations was “would you like a cuppa?” – it was lovely to see that even though the day was all about them, Kerrie’s priority was making sure everyone else was having a good time.

From this very English beginning, the wedding day turned into more of an international affair, with friends and relatives travelling from the USA, Australia, and The Philippines. It was really lovely seeing the two families getting together and celebrating Kerrie & Patrick’s day. And what a place to celebrate it at Crewe Hall. It’s been over a year since we were last here and what a scorcher of a day to pick – and as our regular blog readers will know, provided lens flare-o-rama to film:)

PS. We’ve very recently heard some extra news about our gorgeous couple. Muchos congrats guys!

Wedding Highlights at The Woodlands Hotel | Natalie & Elliott

You just have to love Israeli dancing at Jewish weddings. It is possibly the closest thing to dancing which I would be able to partake and enjoy. Sheer frenetic, crazy, mad, fun.

That was one of the lasting images of Natalie & Elliott’s wedding. However, through the day itself we had a gathering of family and friends wishing the best for our happy couple. It was chilled and relaxing with sudden bursts of crazy mad fun. Fantastic stuff.

Wedding Highlights in Surrey | Robyn & Robin

Robyn and Robin’s wedding was much anticipated by us, not least because it was well known as the “super DIY wedding”. They, amazingly, built their venue up over a year, including creating their own decorations and signs, and building the coolest bar ever!

If you don’t already know the story of Robyn and Robin then you must have no internet (or maybe just not aware of certain wedding blogs). You can check out their planning from the beginning over on Rock My Wedding.

What struck us more on the day was just how true their day was to reflecting the two of them: warm, welcoming, laid back, fun, quirky … the list could go on. We were truly honoured to be invited to be a part of their special day, and we love them both for just being an awesome couple!:)

Also, it was great working work Chanelle & Craig from Segerius-Bruce Photography – check out the lovliness on their blog!

Weddings Highlights at Nunsmere Hall | Daisy & Rick

Upon meeting Rick & Daisy for the first time, it was hard to not get struck by just how welcoming they were – and also just how important their faith is to them. Also, bit of a small world moment, but Rick used to go to the same church in which Andrea and I were married!

Their wedding day was such a fun event to film and we were shooting with our sometime-partners-in-crime, The Lawsons (you can see the photos from their day here).

The day started off at the lovely St Vincent de Paul church in Altrincham and then we traveled over to Nunsmere Hall – our first time to this fantabulous venue and hopefully not our last!

Wedding Trailer at Cowley Manor | Lucy & James

Cowley Manor may just be our new favourite wedding location in the UK. The place has the classical manor feeling, but with so many eclectic decorations and pieces of art which make it stand out (I swear there is a bust which looks like Rolf Harris smoking a pipe!)

Lucy & James, you made a great choice of venue – and we’ll hear more about our bride and groom later.
