It has to be said that Shaheena & Chris are two of the most fun and chilled out people you are likely to come across. In fact, they are both soooo laid-back they are almost horizontal!

Three words which summed up the day had to be fun, family and food (ok, I may have emphasised the last one a bit too much. However the food was de-lic-ious). Shaheena & Chris also had some of the strangest friends we have come across. For any of you who caught our guest message post, you can see what we mean.

As with all Asian weddings, there is a big emphasis on family. So it was no surprise to see the families on both sides chatting away to one another like they have known each other for years. There were so many family members who turned up that at one point I was worried that Cranage Hall wouldn’t be able to hold them all!

It was also great to work alongside Dave & Jo from Wirral Photographer and we look forward to meeting up again sometime.

We like to treat every wedding that we capture as a film. The way we shoot and the way we edit are all influenced by the movies we have watched over our lives (and believe me, there are many, many we have viewed). I also like to tease our clients the way marketing guys do when releasing the next blockbuster.

That is where a trailer comes in.

A trailer teases the audience into wanting to see more. Revealing enough to whet the appetites, but not revealing ALL the REALLY good stuff.

So without further ado, let me introduce the trailer for the lovely Gemma & Lee.

The very first thing John said to me when I met him was a bit of a challenge;

“Your stuff is excellent. This…….must be awesome.“

Everything was set. The weather was perfect (again another scorcher). We were filming at Thornton Manor – one of our favourite venues. We were also fully using our new DSLR cameras for the entire day.

Well, don’t ever say we are ones to turn down a challenge.

While we encourage the guests to do their own thing when recording their messages to the bride and groom, sometimes they really do surprise us.
It would be easy to describe what happened on this particular occasion, but I think this clip speaks for itself.

Highlights | Kim & Duncan

It is fair to say that Kim is one of our biggest fans. Whenever we posted a highlights clip online Kim was often the first one to comment on it in her usual enthusiastic manner, so when it came to her own wedding day we knew we had to pull out all the stops. Filming began at the beautiful Our Lady and the Apostles Church in Stockport. This place is rather like the Tardis, as outside it doesn’t appear all that grande, but once you step indoors you truly discover how big (and bright) it really is.

We also had the opportunity to use the Canon 550D once again and at times we were using three cameras during the church service!

We really hope that Kim continues to comment on our clips as and when they are posted, and I have a sneaky suspicion we shall be receiving a few comments on this post as well
