Christmas weddings and Manchester City are not words you would normally mention in the same breath. Yet that was what we encountered when filming Mike & Oriel’s wedding day. We had the December setting and the Christmas decor on the one hand, and on the other was an assortment of items referencing the sky blue of City. The groom’s clothes, the lighting at the reception, the church . We even had a clear blue sky for the day!
Mike & Oriel put a lot of work into their first dance which was nice to see, although you will have to ask them if they were taking inspiration from Strictly Come Dancing. I haven’t told Mike & Oriel yet, but I really want to live at Oriel’s parents house. It’s a wonderful place out in the peaks that was so quirky, it was just a shame we were there for so little time.
The order of the day was to keep things natural, so we had to refrain ourselves for grading this clip (only slight colour correction was applied). Once again we enjoyed taking our Glidetrack and Glidecam out for a spin. It is clear to see how beautiful our shots become when using these devices.
